Congratulations to Steve Hanson who has moved up from the smoke to “God’s Own Country” (The North) and wasted no time in securing his place in the Prestigious 100 Club Hall of fame.
Steve caught 104lb 5oz on Big Max at Old Hough Fishery last week; apologies for missing you out
Staffordshire Match Fishing club operates an inclusive policy and is in no way prejudiced against southerners.
An Honourable mention also goes to:-
Simon Griffin with his highest weight so far of 92lb 13oz yesterday on the Raymar Canal at Hanchurch Fishery
Congratulations to both Jamie Martin and Neil Wain who both caught over 100lb in a club match this weekend
Made more impressive by the fact that this week’s match on Big Max at Old Hough Fishery was only 5 hours rather than the usual 6 hours duration.
Congratulations to Lee Cartwright who caught 106lb 8oz to win the 17th July match on Spey Canal at Partridge Lakes.

Fishery Rules
We will meet up at the main car park next to the lodge for the draw and then move off to our pegs. The fishery allows parking next to the peg, but we will take a view on how practical this is with the numbers we have on the day.
As usual, the times are:-
08:30 book In
09:00 Draw
10:30 All In
16:30 All Out
This Sunday we were booked to fish Pisces at Heronbrook (which has not been fishing well) Due to members work and personal commitments however we are not expecting a large turnout. With the lower numbers Neil Dale has been able to squeeze 10 of us onto a different water (shared with another match), which may fish a little better.
If you are attending it might be worth bringing a feeder/ waggler rod with you – just in case!
Times will be as usual
Book In 08:30
Draw 09:00
All In/ Out 10:30/16:30
