A return to Fields Farm Fishery this weekend with a change of Pool to “Far Hope”.
Directions
From Junction 17 M6 take the A534 Towards Crewe & Nantwich
Immediately after the Co-Op petrol station (on the left) take the First Right
In less than 1/2 mile look out for the fishery “A” board sign and turn right down the tarmacked lane
Follow the lane for 1/2 mile to the fishery
FISHERY DESCRIPTION –
Fishing on Far Hope is around a central island and offers excellent fishing for the match man or pleasure angler alike. Generously stocked with Carp (to 15lb), plenty of F1s (to 3lb) backed up with Bream (to 4lb), Crucian (to 3lb), Rudd (to 1lb), Roach (to 1lb), Chubb (to 4lb), and scale-perfect Tench (to 3lb), the pool has widely-spaced pegs offering varying distances. The depth of the pool ranges from 5-8ft. Good baits to use are pellet, meat, and corn with castor and maggot in the colder months. Equally fruitful is a chuck to the island using the running method, feeder or straight lead. (1 acre / 22 pegs).

This Sunday we are on the Capricious Pool at Blake (The first pool on the right as you come in the entrance)
We meet at the Pool Carpark between 08:30 & 08:45 for the draw at 9:00am
Fish from 10:30-16:30
Rules are fairly standard however, Meat of any kind is banned.

We are on Goose Pool at Old Hough Fishery for this Sunday’s match
Description of Pool
Stocked with Carp to 8lb, Bream, Barbel to 3lb, Chub to 3lb, F1’s to 2lb, Crucians, Roach and Tench to 2lb. Goose is 12 metres wide with a 1 metre deep shelf both round the island and also round the perimeter and 1.7 metre deep central channel. On the island is a small stock pool.
