This Sunday’s match is at a new venue for our event list; Hillside fishing Pool in Cheadle.
It is a well manicured pool, which will be a nice antidote to the snaggy Canal Pool at Baden Hall last week.(I’m not still bitter about breaking a pole section – honest!)
There are toilet facilities on site and a cabin serving fresh tea and coffee
The 18 pegs all have solid platforms to fish from and the pool slopes from 2′ 6″ in the margins to 7′ at it’s deepest point.
Normal match rules apply and the only baits bans are boilies or floating baits.
Pellet, meat and sweetcorn normally pick up the carp with maggot and caster providing a lot of bites from the good head of silver fish present.
The venue will provide all nets and the bailiff on site will respond to a shout to weigh fish over 5lb which must be returned straight away.
